What a difference a year makes; the Detroit Lions from Canada had a sour taste in the mouth after their loss in the title game in last years Nationals. This year is was clear that these ladies were focused to not only play well but to win it all. In the title game they found themselves in another match up with the Oakland Raiders who they faced in the pool play. Defense was the key for them as they shut out the Raiders 6-0 to claim their first NFL National Tournament of Champions title.
