	I cannot say enough good about this sporting league! My two sons have played for three seasons and have had nothing but positive experiences. It truly is a league that is there for the KIDS. They have learned a great deal, played a lot of football, and met new friends. Aside from football, the league has done tremendous things for the community (working at the Rescue Mission) and had great social get-togethers (Scrappers and Browns games). We have all grown as a result of the YFFA league...in many ways. I am proud to be a part of the organization! 	I would like to say “thank you” to Elliot (& all of his crew) for such a well organized program. Elliot really operates this league with passion & excitement. My son, Jacob, started playing in the spring of 2009 (5-6 division) & truly loves Football! At first he was unsure of the rules of the game, but boy he loved to run!! Now in his 2nd session, he is running the ball, pulling tons of flags, and enjoys being the QB, but his favorite position is safety! Overall, I am thrilled with his progress & love watching all the enthusiasm of all the players & coaches. I also want to say thanks to Elliott’s wife for taking some truly AWESOME shots of the games! I can’t wait to place my order!! Thanks for everything & looking forward to many more seasons with YYFFA! PS. I think a white board is a must have for coaches – especially with the 5-6 division. 	I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how much we enjoy being a part of the YYFFA. From start to finish each week, the organization and team camaraderie is unmatched by anything I have ever seen. I come from a large family that has been involved with organized sports for many years and nothing compares to this league. My sons are already anticipating the upcoming Spring season. 	This was our son's first year in the yffa league (age group 5-6) and we were really happy with how organized it was. Our son had great coaches, a great bunch of kids on his team and most of all he had so much fun while learning some fundamentals of sports in general. Overall, a great experience! 	Hello to present and future parents and players!!! If you are looking for an awesome, FUN (!!!!), skills building, challenging, well-organized activity for your children, look no further than the Youngstown Youth Flag Football Association. We just finished our second season with YYFFA and can’t wait for the next one (Spring) to start! This is my first experience in football, and being a mom, nervous and skeptical, to say the least, but it is very safe and well organized and I felt very comfortable in every situation and play. My boys ran, learned plays and had a blast. They also had the opportunity to make friends with a lot of kids from around the community. Thanks YYFFA!!! Isn’t it Spring yet?? 	The YYFFA is one of the most well run, well organized programs that my children have belonged to. I would encourage all parents, whose children have an interest in football, to start with the YYFFA. Your child will learn the fundamentals of the game while playing in a safe way. I have 4 boys and we have played in a lot of different leagues. 	My son Stephen Taylor has been with the league since it began. He looks forward to every season, and has learned so much. I enjoy watching him play and cheering him on. He also loves wearing his jersey to school so everyone can see it. Every season these kids come and play their hearts out and have so much fun doing it. 	This fall was our son Mitchell Davidson's first experience with YYFFA. He is 10 years old, in the fourth grade and LOVES football. YYFFA offered a great alternative to tackle football! Mitchell not only got to play football, but got a chance to meet young kids from surrounding communities and make new friends. The program is well organized (thanks Elliot) and parents, coaches and players are respectful of each other and the game. It has been an overall positive experience for our family. 	Just wanted to help get the good word out about the YYFFA. My son has played from the beginning and has learned teamwork, Football fundamentals and most of all had fun!!! Many of his friends have joined the league after hearing him talk about it.Its great to watch these kids get better playing together and having fun. 	Both of my sons, ages 8 and 6, have participated in the Youngstown Youth Flag Football League for the past two seasons. Our family has enjoyed their participation in the league based on the competitiveness and enjoyment. The league is very well-run and thoroughly organized. 	My son Jake has participated in the YYFFA program since its first inception by Elliott Giles in Spring 2007, and has absolutely loved the entire experience throughout all four seasons he has played. He has not only learned the fundamentals of football from awesome coaches, but has also made new friends along the way. The league strongly emphasizes teamwork and sportsmanship, while not ignoring the competitiveness that makes any sport exciting. Our whole family has thoroughly enjoyed this program and the extra activities such as YSU day. The YYFFA is undoubtedly the best-organized and best-run youth sports program we have ever participated in, and Elliott constantly finds ways to keep improving it even further.
