Frequently Asked Questions

	Q: How do I register? A: You can register your child online by clicking here. All registrations are done online, no walk-up or mail-in registrations will be allowed.
	Q: What are the age groups? A: (5-6), (7-8), (9-11),(12-14) *Classifications in the age groups are subject change based upon the number of registrations in each age group. Again, all registered players will be placed on a team.
	Q: How are individual players placed on teams? A: The YYFFA allows players to request to be on a team with friends. However, those requests are considered but not guaranteed. (Generally kids will be placed with other kids from the same township).
	Q: Are refunds available? A: No, refunds are not given; insurance and charter fees are paid directly after registration. Insurance companies or the NFL do not give refunds to the local leagues.
	Q: How many players are on a team? A: Maximum is 10, we do reserve the right to place an indivdual player on any team if needed.
	Q: How often do teams practice and is it mandatory? A: Based on our "Fair" playing time policy. Practices are strongly encouraged and recommended but not mandatory. Players will meet, at the most twice a week for practice (90 mins) and play one game per week. Practice times and locations are scheduled by the team coach and may be any weekday. Games will be played on Sunday afternoons.
	Q:What will my child need before stepping on the field? A: Yes...all players are required to have a mouthpiece and shorts without any pockets before stepping on the field. No EXCEPTIONS!!
	Q: How much playing time can my child expect? A: Our NFL Youth program promotes participation, fun and fundamentals. Coaches are encouraged to fairly allocate playing time amongst all players on the team based on attendance to practice.
	Q: What do I get for my registration fee? A: Guaranteed 7 games, Authentic NFL jersey, NFL flags, interactive website (weekly photos and videos), organized administration and a lot of FUN for you and your child. Your entry fee will also pay for insurance for your child and day to day operations such as photographers, field maintenance, referees, etc.
	Q: What types of Awards are given? A: Each division winner will also receive championship trophies. Runners Up will receive medals.
